This is definitely one of the the most scenic and adventurous routes to the top of the Table. If you're the type of person that loves challenging yourself in a strenuous way, this might be for you.
There are basic climbing sections(been renovated using chains and staples to make it safer). You will definitely be getting some of the best views of Cape Town while doing so. This route requires some level of fitness and could take up to 4 hours to ascend which is definitely worth the experience. Cable car going down could be an option for those tired legs.

ROCK HOPPER WATERFALL
Bain's Kloof
​
Just over an hours drive out of Cape Town. Super Adventurous Fun Hike up a river where many rock pools are found and encounter at Hidden Waterfall in a Cave.
​
There are technical on this route and you may be required to hop along rocks and/or wade through the river knee deep for a few meters at a time(the adventurous and fun part we were speaking about). It's all just part of the process to get you to the Waterfall reward :) You don't have to be super fit for this one.

BREAKFAST ROCK
Camps Bay
Are you the "less strenuous hike" type of person but still appreciate an incredible view?
Here's an intermediate level short hike that covers part of the Kasteelspoort trail. The second half gets a bit steep but you'll arrive at the destination in just over an hour at an easy pace. The "Breakfast Rock is an amazingly flat view point that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean including a broad stretch of Captonians favorite Coastline Including Clifton and Camps Bay Beaches.
